Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically minded ShopTechnician who thrives in a hands-on environment. In this role, the ShopTechnician will be responsible for maintaining shop equipment, preparing toolsand materials for field operations, troubleshooting mechanical issues, andkeeping the shop running efficiently. Working closely with our Transportation,Operations, and Safety teams, they’ll help ensure equipment is maintained,organized, and ready to support safe and successful field operations.

Shipping / receiving

- Forklift / zoom boom operation
- Handle the loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, andequipment while ensuring proper securement and safe handling practices
- Yard inventorymanagement, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all equipment andsupplies in the yard
- Assist projects team with coordinating hotshot / shippingvendors
- Manage shipping documentation
- Work with projects team on readying and shipping equipmentload lists





Facilitateequipment maintenance / readiness

- Work with projects team on maintenance / green tagrequirements
- Develop, implement,and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime
- Coordinate necessary repair work with equipment vendors
- Monitor supply stockwithin the office/yard and place orders as needed

Safety & Compliance

- Lead daily safetymeetings
- Maintaining a safeenvironment for customers and employees.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while ensuring the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

What Skills and Training Do You Need?

- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands onexperience maintaining and repairing equipment.
- Pump and Hydraulicsexperience preferred.
- Forklift or Zoom boom Ticket required.
- Experience in a physically demandingrole; Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly on shift and throughoutthe shift.
- Ability to develop maintenance schedulesand implement shop systems.
- Excellent safety record with experiencein oil and gas on project worksites.
- Ability to work outdoors in allweather conditions and execute tasks with limited supervision.
