Position: Paver Operator – Calgary, Alberta (2026 Season)

This role supports our Paving Division. Responsibilities include operating the paver and related equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Operate the paver and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness.
- Maintain correct speed and move the paver in a straight line.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety inspections.
- Preheat the paving screed before asphalt placement.
- Monitor and control asphalt mixture temperatures.
- Coordinate with trucks delivering asphalt to the paver.

Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years operating a Paver.
- Communication:



Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers in a courteous, skilled manner.
- License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license or better.
- Vehicle: Own vehicle to get to and from job site.
- Work Availability: Willing to work overtime, night shifts, weekends, as required.
- Compliance: Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
