As a Ground Handler at Cargojet, you will ensure the safe and efficient handling of air cargo in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading aircraft and trucks, operating ground support equipment, and sorting packages. In this role, you'll need to meet time-sensitive deadlines, adhere to safety protocols, and work well in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and offload aircraft and trucks each night
• Operate ground support equipment effectively
• Sort packages based on destination and customer
• Communicate package counts to Supervisors
• Adhere to safety and security protocols
Requirements:
• High School Graduate or equivalent experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
• Ability to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly
• Solid communication skills needed
• Willingness to work outside in all weather
