Join Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation as an Environmental Program Coordinator in Victoria, BC. This temporary role focuses on environmental education administration, grant management, and supporting biodiversity initiatives.
The Environmental Program Coordinator plays a key role in HCTF's Education department and will assist with the delivery of K-12 grants, workshops, and learning resources. You will manage operational tasks to enhance effective program delivery and contribute to the Foundation's conservation goals. This position offers a unique chance to engage with educators and promote environmental initiatives across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer HCTF Education school grants
• Coordinate workshops and school program deliveries
• Manage grant processes and systems effectively
• Respond to inquiries from educators and schools
• Liaise with the WildBC Network for program support
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Education, Environmental Science, or Biology
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong time management and detail orientation
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
Support environmental education and conservation efforts as an integral part of HCTF in Victoria.
