Job Summary Principal Oracle Database Architect member of the Administrative Applications Production Data Services team, focusing on development, implementation, and enhancement of the Financial Data Warehouse. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle databases, including logical/physical data models, tables, views, PL/SQL code, and Linux shell scripts. Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and efficiency improvement of database systems during and after migrations. Collaborate with programmers, analysts, and stakeholders to assess the impact of database changes, manage data integrity, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards. Architect and implement database security, disaster recovery procedures, and data dictionary standards. Lead installation, configuration, and benchmark testing of database software and related infrastructure. Provide technical support to end users for data access and accessibility issues.



Qualifications Minimum 10 years experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning. 10 years experience in Oracle database structures and data analysis. 10 years designing enterprise applications and/or services. 10 years creating technical and functional design documentation. Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum, etc.). 6 years experience in multi‑tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3‑Tier). 1 year preferred experience with Jira. 1 year preferred Oracle Certification. 1 year preferred experience with data warehouse applications and/or reporting features. Robust knowledge of computer programming, systems design, project control, cost estimating, and database technologies.
