FedEx is hiring a Shuttle Driver to facilitate the transport of freight. This part-time position operates Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 8 PM, with a competitive pay rate of 21.74 CAD per hour.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading, sorting, and unloading freight, driving between FedEx facilities. A valid Class 5/Class G license with a positive driving record is essential; interpersonal skills will help you succeed in your interactions. Physical capabilities to manage substantial weights are necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently
• Sort and scan freight for transportation
• Drive between facilities to transport goods
• Maintain safety standards while operating the vehicle
• Complete necessary training and annual requirements
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is essential
• Valid Class 5/Class G driver's license required
• Valuable driving record in accordance with company standards
• Ability to lift 70 lbs or maneuver heavier packages
• Knowledge of FedEx procedures and customs regulations preferred
