Start your mechanical career as a GSE Technician Apprentice at Executive Aviation, located at Halifax Airport. Engage in hands-on repair and maintenance of Ground Support Equipment.
Reporting to the GSE Technician, you'll complete preventative measures, diagnose vehicle issues, and perform necessary repairs at the YHZ base. This full time role also includes on-call responsibilities and potential travel for maintenance tasks across various bases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute maintenance tasks on GSE systems
• Review parts for repairs, reuse, or replacement decisions
• Employ hand and power tools for repair work
• Diagnose issues to ensure minimal disruption
• Submit maintenance records for tracking
Requirements:
• Completed 310s or 310t Mechanic coursework
• Physical ability to lift weights of up to 70lbs/32kgs
• Willing to work outdoors in any weather
• Availability for on-call and travel when necessary
• Meet Transport Canada employment qualifications
