Integrated Staffing is currently recruiting a Class 3 Swing Driver for a leading waste management company in the Saint-John, NB area. If you have a valid Class 3 license with air brake endorsement , enjoy a fast-paced work workplace, and are looking for a dynamic role with variety from day to day, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a variety of waste collection vehicles and equipment .
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Perform various driving and collection duties based on operational requirements, often with little notice.
- Service customers according to scheduled routes and contractual requirements.
- Open and close heavy bin doors, secure tarps, secure bins to trucks, and push or pull front-end bins for servicing.
- Collect residential waste and recycling as required.
- Maintain excellent customer service while interacting with customers.
- Use tablet technology to update routes and communicate with dispatch using the radio system.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.




- Assist in operating different types of equipment and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Clean Driver's Abstract with no preventable accidents within the past year.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience operating waste collection equipment or similar heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of the Saint-John area and surrounding communities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive manual labour throughout the shift.
- Strong attendance record with a commitment to safety and productivity.
- Flexibility to work varying start and finish times, including Saturdays and statutory holidays as required.
