Clean Harbors seeks an Experienced Class AZ Driver in Corunna, ON to join our dedicated team. Your role will involve driving various vehicles for hazardous waste collection while maintaining a strong safety focus.
This position is unionized and requires a valid Class AZ License. You will be responsible for operating multiple units, ensuring productive loading and unloading of waste while performing necessary vehicle inspections and adhering to safety protocols. Emphasizing teamwork, you will cooperate closely with supervisors and clients to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive and manage assigned vehicles
• Load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials
• Perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle checks




• Adhere to regulations for vehicle placarding
• Work collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors
Requirements:
• Hold a Class AZ Commercial Driver's License
• Clean driving record and maintain a clean-shaven appearance
• Prior experience with Hazardous Waste transportation highly desirable
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Willingness to work outdoor shifts in varying weather
