We are currently seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Technologist to support our client, a leader in engineering and environmental protection. This contract position involves developing detailed 3D models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, supporting various operational projects. You will work closely with Mechanical Engineers on process piping and HVAC designs, following internal quality standards and engineering procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop 3D mechanical models using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Collaborate to produce smart P&IDs; and mechanical drawings
• Draft Bills of Materials and work packages for projects
• Integrate 3D point cloud data into modeling processes
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards and quality workflows
Requirements:
• 4 to 9 years in mechanical design within industrial sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and associated software
• Ability to work independently on modeling tasks
• Experience in process piping and HVAC systems
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology required
