We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds using carpentry and masonry skills
Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, pumps, and compactors to facilitate concrete placement
Install rebar reinforcement according to schematics and blueprints to ensure structural integrity
Use hand tools and power tools for tasks including concrete finishing, caulking, and surface smoothing
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
Support in the installation of flooring, restoration work, and other renovation tasks involving concrete surfaces
Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to transport materials safely around the job site
Conduct basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation during projects
Experience
Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete work or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, and finishing processes
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to concrete projects
Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery and power tools used in construction environments
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during restoration or renovation tasks
Basic understanding of welding, flooring installation, caulking, and general site safety protocols
Robust mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
