Right at Home is looking for experienced, professional certified casual HEALTH CARE ASSISTANTS who are currently registered with BC Care Aid Registry to add to our team of exceptional caregivers and assist with 1:1 client care in the Saanich, BC area.

Our candidates will need:
Police Criminal Background Check with VSS
Updated immunizations and proof of Covid-19 vaccinations
Excellent communication and listening skills
HCA certification or equivalent and registration with BC Care Aid Registry
Current certificate in standard first-aid and CPR
Ability to travel freely to see clients

Duties:
Assisting with personal grooming
Bathing
Dressing and undressing
Mobilization activities (turning, transferring, exercising and walking)
Toileting
Eating and meal preparations
Specialty care an asset (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)
Companionship, outings
Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
Excellent communication and listening skills
Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed
