Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Counter Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. This position requires a strong focus on food safety and sanitation while delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
Assist with food handling, ensuring proper storage and preparation techniques are followed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Follow food safety protocols to maintain a safe dining environment.

Skills




Comfortable working in hot and cold conditions – it’s a walk-up window, so you’ll feel the heat during summer and the cold even inside on winter!
able to work on WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Experience with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
