We are seeking a skilled Solid Surface Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation of solid surface materials in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties
Measure and prepare surfaces for solid surface installation according to project specifications and blueprints
Cut, shape, and assemble solid surface materials using hand tools and power tools
Install countertops, vanities, and other surfaces with accuracy and care
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to ensure proper installation
Perform related carpentry tasks such as framing, caulking, and sealing to ensure a finished look
Utilize flooring installation skills where applicable to ensure seamless integration with existing surfaces
Use handyman skills for minor repairs or adjustments during the installation process
Maintain a clean work setting, adhering to safety standards at all times
Experience
Proven experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry work is highly preferred
Prior experience in flooring installation or tile laying is advantageous
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of caulking techniques and finishing details required for professional results
Experience with handyman tasks or general construction enhances versatility on the job site
Robust attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.85-$38.05 per hour
