Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our Sahara Place wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized care.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to the individual needs of clients.
Utilize various techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to promote relaxation and alleviate pain.
Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and preferences regarding their massage experience.
Educate clients on the advantages of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.




Ensure a clean and welcoming environment by maintaining hygiene standards for all equipment and treatment areas.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Requirements
Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. (RMT)*
“Lymphatic massage certification is an asset, but not a requirement.”
Proficiency in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and respond to client inquiries.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
