Role Description This is a part-time, in office Cleaner role based in Burlington, ON. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping surfaces. Day-to-day tasks may include cleaning washrooms, kitchens, offices, hallways, and common areas; emptying trash and recycling; restocking supplies; and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. The role involves using cleaning products and equipment in accordance with company guidelines and safety standards, following checklists and schedules,



and ensuring that spaces are presentable for clients and visitors. The Cleaner will work independently or as part of a team, while meeting established quality and time standards.
Qualifications
Ability to perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning washrooms and common areas.
Capability to follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and instructions, with solid attention to detail and consistency.
Awareness of basic health and safety practices, including secure use of cleaning chemicals, proper lifting techniques, and adherence to company safety policies.
Good time management, reliability, and punctuality, with the ability to work part time shifts and adapt to varying workloads.
Effective communication skills to interact respectfully with clients, supervisors, and coworkers, and to report issues or concerns promptly.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift light to moderate items as required during the workday.
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
