As a pivotal member of CPA Ontario, your work will directly support the adjudicative integrity of the Discipline, Appeal, and Registration Committees.
You'll lead efforts to streamline tribunal processes and mentor legal specialists. Your contributions will help ensure that CPA Ontario maintains high standards of accountability and transparency in its operations. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the adjudicative proceedings
Advise adjudicators on regulatory requirements
Develop training for tribunal members and staff
Report to Council on strategic tribunal matters
Ensure effective communication of tribunal documentation Requirements:
JD or LLB; ability to practice law in Ontario required
At least 7 years of relevant legal expertise
Awareness of CPA Ontario bylaws and regulations
Solid legal problem-solving and analytical skills
