Job Title: Journeyman / Red Seal Carpenter

Location: Clyde River, NU

Schedule: Full Time

Our client is seeking a Journeyman or Red Seal Carpenter for an immediate, short-term assignment in Clyde River, Nunavut. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled trades professional who is comfortable working in a remote northern community and has experience with general carpentry and building maintenance.

What's the Job?
Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance.
Repair and maintain doors, windows, walls, flooring, and other building components.
Install, repair, and replace fixtures, hardware, and other carpentry-related items.
Complete preventative maintenance activities and respond to repair requests.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Follow all site safety policies and procedures.
Communicate effectively with the site supervisor and team members.
Support the ongoing upkeep of a commercial accommodation facility.

What's Needed?
Journeyman Carpenter or Red Seal Carpenter certification.
Experience in general carpentry,



repairs, and building maintenance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Willingness and ability to travel and work in a remote location.
Solid communication and teamwork skills.
