Job Summary

We are seeking experienced underground miners for projects in Kimberley and Sparwood, BC.

Kimberley, BC - the ideal candidate has experience in rock bolting, shotcreting, conventional mining, scooptrams, construction, supervision and mine rescue. This position suits someone local to the Cranbrook, Kimberley or surrounding areas. The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 10 hour shifts.

Sparwood, BC - the ideal candidate is an experienced shiftboss that also brings experience in conventional mining/bolting and construction. The candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding setting, have excellent leadership abilities, be highly safety conscious, be willing to train current workers, be comfortable in a demanding and agile work environment, have good computer and communication skills and be able to work independently.



This position offers flexibility in the work schedule and opportunities for overtime work. The candidate can be from outside of the Sparwood area, however no travel allowance is offered. Accommodations will be provided.

Qualifications
BC Underground Shiftboss certification
BC underground mine rescue certification or willingness to obtain
First aid certification
Valid drivers license

Pay: $45.15-$73.64 per hour
