What you’ll do
Partner with the Corporate Controller to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.
Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and account analysis.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while identifying prospects to improve processes and controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to junior members of the Finance team when required.
Take ownership of priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs and jump in wherever support is needed during this critical period.

What you’ll bring
CPA designation (required).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience,



preferably with experience handling intercompany transactions and large datasets using PowerQuery.
Solid understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and month-end close.
A proactive, action-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative approach and the ability to build solid relationships across the business.
Availability to commit to the full six-month contract.

Details
Annualized salary of $85,000 (pro-rated for the six-month contract).
$5,000 completion bonus upon successfully completing the contract.
This role will be in office five times a week during training, then transition to a four day a week in office.
