Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our team at The Flats Eatery + Drink. As a Breakfast Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a rapid-paced kitchen environment. Description
-Prepare and cook breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and breakfast sandwiches according to recipes and standards.
-Set up and stock the breakfast station before service (prep ingredients, sauces, and garnishes).
-Ensure food is cooked and presented to quality and portion standards.
-Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
-Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times.
-Monitor food levels and communicate low stock to the kitchen manager or supervisor
-Properly store and label food items according to health guidelines
-Assist with prep work for the next shift as needed
-Work efficiently during busy breakfast rush periods to ensure timely service
-Follow all company policies and kitchen procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a food service or restaurant kitchen preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Ability to handle knives and other kitchen equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Ability to work well in a team setting
