Daily/Weekly cleaning and inspection of washrooms (5) and lunchrooms (2)
Removal of waste throughout the facility
Bailing of cardboard and scrap plastic as needed (2 different bailers)
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
Maintain the parking lot and exterior emergency exits in the winter via shoveling, plowing and salting
Clean up waste around the exterior of property
Communicate to the Department Supervisor on discrepancies and potential product non-conformities
Sweeping warehouse as needed
Perform regular cleaning of the production area, with focus on shift change prep
May be asked to assist at recycler
Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies throughout the plant
Change Handwash station water (daily)
Warehouse clean-up including recycler shutdown as needed
Management of one-off recycled items such as batteries, lights and returnable cans
Empty water collection drums at Extrusion
May be asked to perform other tasks based on the needs of the company, this may include but is not limited to: supporting production for changeovers, breaks and end of shift duties. Minor customs work and specific cleaning tasks such as wood shop and annual cleaning.
