Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess solid mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace. This role offers an opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, utilize advanced tools, and contribute to maintaining the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with schematics are highly valued. The position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Duties
Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs effectively
Read and interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to accurately identify problems
Conduct inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards
Assemble parts and components as needed for repairs or upgrades




Assist in the maintenance of shop tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and ensuring customer satisfaction
Lift heavy parts or equipment safely during repair procedures

Requirements
Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems
Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory
Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in automotive repair and maintenance
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and read schematics effectively
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred

Pay: $23.83-$30.00 per hour
