Job Summary
A&D; Precision Machining Inc is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. You must have minimum of 7 plus years' experience as a qualified millwright. Needs to be very familiar with Skoda, Fermat and Tacchi Machines with Siemens and Heidenhain controls.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and drawings to establish work procedures.
Troubleshoot, observe, and diagnose mechanical equipment issues, implementing corrective measures.
Analyze machine error messages and information from operators to identify and address equipment problems.
Repair or replace defective or malfunctioning machinery and equipment components.
Test newly repaired machinery and equipment to ensure repair effectiveness.
Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment for part removal, inspection, and repairs.
Utilize machine tools (such as grinders, drill presses, and saws) to create parts needed for machinery overhaul, maintenance, or setup.
Assemble machinery and equipment before installation using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Operate lift machines as necessary to complete job tasks.
Skills
Troubleshoot and repair all mechanical and electrical systems on 23 Medium to Large CNC machine tools, including horizontal boring mills, roll grinders, horizontal and vertical lathes
Adjust and set parameters on Siemens 840D Machine Controls
Design and machine improved parts for portly designed CNC machine tool components
Complete physical geometric and laser calibration of all CNC machine tools using Renishaw laser system and precision levels
Repair and troubleshoot all CNC machine tool accessories including chip conveyors, CNC indexing, units, Ejector drill coolants, machine chiller, hydraulic units and any other compotents/duties
