We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook cum Cashier to join our vibrant Pizza Pizza restaurant team. This dual-role position involves preparing delicious pizzas and other food items while providing excellent customer service at the cashier station. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a friendly demeanor, and experience in food service settings. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and plating dishes efficiently and safely
Operate the cash register, process customer orders accurately, and handle cash transactions with professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and dining areas at the end of each shift
Qualifications
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and register operation
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
