Prairie North Construction is recruiting a Dozer /Hoe Operators for a Project near Balzac, AB
Duties:
This position will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
Operate Dozer as it applies to reclamation, sloping, backfilling, clean-up, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes
Operate Excavator as it applies to ditching, sloping, clean-up in excavations and embankments, rock ripping etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
Operate and maintain equipment in a protected and productive manner.
Carry out minor maintenance and inspection for equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
Capable of operating a range of dozer sizes (D5 to D8)
Capable of operating a range of excavator sizes
Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
Ability to work as a team and take direction.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Possess 2+ experience.
Must pass a competency test on specified equipment.
Experience with finish grade operations is highly valued
Experience operating different heavy equipment is considered an asset.
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Local Preferred
Certifications:
MUST BE CLEAN SHAVEN
Ground Disturbance, CSO or CSTS2020, Wildlife/Bear Awareness and H2S
Current Drivers Abstract
Must Be Able to Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test
