We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Accounting Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide accounting support for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties while assisting with property management administration and tenant relations.

Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly bank and trust account reconciliations
Record rent payments and maintain tenant ledgers
Prepare financial reports and monthly statements
Coordinate lease documentation and tenant files
Respond to tenant inquiries regarding accounts
Support property managers with day-to-day administrative duties
Maintain accurate accounting records using property management software

Qualifications
Accounting Technician diploma or equivalent education/experience




2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management
Experience with accounting or property management software (Buildium, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills
Experience with residential or commercial property management
Knowledge of lease administration
Familiarity with trust accounting
Customer service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
