Flashback Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, retro-style breakfast & lunch restaurant in Midland, Ontario. We are a fast-paced and growing establishment looking for a full-time Host/Hostess to join our team.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover
Handle phone inquiries with qualified phone etiquette
Take and relay guest orders accurately, coordinating with the serving staff
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host station
Operate POS systems for reservations and seating management
Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Skills
Solid guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Experience in serving, hospitality, or food service environments preferred
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of POS system
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Professional phone etiquette for reservation calls and inquiries
Previous restaurant or Breakfast Restaurant is advantageous
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
