We are looking for a skilled and licensed Tool & Die Maker to join our client s manufacturing team in Aurora, ON.

Shift - Afternoon

Pay - $40/hr

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine job requirements.
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment.
Fabricate, assemble, fit, and adjust tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to exact specifications.
Inspect completed tools and dies using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing tools and dies to minimize downtime.
Modify tools and dies to improve performance or adapt to current production requirements.
Work closely with engineering, maintenance,



and production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Follow all workplace safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:
Certificate of Qualification as a Tool & Die Maker (e.g., 430A in Ontario) or equivalent trade certification.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in tool and die making.
Robust knowledge of machining processes, metal properties, and heat treatment.
Ability to use precision measuring tools and interpret complex technical drawings.
Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
