Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support licensed physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care, assisting with treatment plans, and ensuring a safe and comfortable setting for patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or acute care settings, possess strong patient care skills, and be familiar with medical terminology. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and rehabilitation while working in a dynamic clinical environment.

Duties
Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment sessions
Support patients during exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the physiotherapist
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes
Educate patients on home exercises and post-treatment care instructions
Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines,



and infection control procedures
Provide compassionate support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process

Qualifications
Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings is preferred
Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient comfort and safety
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation
Certification or training as a Physiotherapist Assistant is advantageous but not mandatory
Must be able to work flexible schedule including potential shifts based on patient needs

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
