Cruikshank Cleaning Contractors is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. This role primarily involves routine cleaning and maintenance duties in commercial and residential settings, with occasional heavy-duty cleaning tasks as required. The ideal candidate is flexible, hardworking, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Clean and disinfect washrooms, kitchens, and common areas
Empty garbage and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal
Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and cleaning materials
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues
Periodically perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks such as:
Deep cleaning of floors (e.g., stripping, waxing, buffing)
Carpet cleaning and spot treatment
Window washing (interior and exterior, where applicable)
Moving light to moderately heavy furniture or equipment
Post-construction or seasonal deep cleaning

Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience is an asset




Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs
Robust attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation to work location is required
Valid G class driver’s license.
Satisfactory criminal background check, mandatory.
Must be eligible to be insured and bonded

Combination of indoor environments with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment
Flexible schedule, which may include evenings or early mornings
Physical work involving standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
