Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of painting techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires effective communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Read and interpret drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
Perform drywall repairs and other surface preparations prior to painting.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing.
Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and organized work workplace throughout the duration of projects.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with project staff regarding project progress and addressing any concerns.
Skills
Proficiency in residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting applications (spraying).
Robust knowledge of drywall repair methods and surface preparation processes.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Requirements
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Must have valid drivers license
Must have own transportation
Must have some tools required for the job
