Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with customers and technicians. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, and services required.
Prepare accurate estimates for services, including oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, alignments, and more.
Include additional services based on customer needs and vehicle diagnostics.
Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle history.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Stay updated on automotive technology trends and service techniques to provide informed recommendations.

Qualifications




Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service center is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Familiarity with various vehicle maintenance services including tire service, suspension work, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brakes, and auto body repair.
Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record in sales and upselling services.
Ability to write clear service orders and communicate technical information effectively to customers.
Experience in cash handling and managing transactions accurately.
A background in auto estimating or service writing is a plus.
