Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to support current construction and apartment build-out projects. This role involves a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finishing, and general construction work within residential buildings. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on active job sites and completing work to a high standard.
Responsibilities
Perform general carpentry work, including framing, finishing, and installation
Complete tasks such as drywall, trim, doors, flooring, and unit build-outs
Assist with construction of new residential units and apartment renovations
Read and work from drawings and plans as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding progress and priorities
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of carpentry or residential construction experience preferred
Working knowledge of framing, finishing, and general building practices
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
Strong attention to detail and quality of workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying materials
Familiarity with the Ontario Building Code and general construction standards is an asset
Valid Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
