Six Base Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator Assistant / General Labour to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will assist Punch Press and Press Brake operators, support shipping and packaging, handle materials, and help maintain a secure and organized production environment.

Responsibilities
Assist Punch Press and Press Brake operators.
Load and unload sheet metal.
Package, label, and palletize finished products.
Assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling.
Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers for basic quality checks.
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Perform other general production duties as assigned.

Qualifications




Previous manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience is an asset.
Experience with Punch Press or Press Brake equipment is an asset.
Forklift certification and a valid driver's licence are considered assets.
Familiarity with basic measuring tools and hand tools.
Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a rapid-paced setting.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
