Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst
On behalf of our Utilities client, Procom is searching for a Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst for a multi-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst to support various IT assignments within their Power, Water, and Drainage business units. The role involves working on project-focused initiatives, primarily enhancing and configuring existing applications.

Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:
Design, develop, document, and maintain applications
Participate actively in Agile delivery, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
Accept and act on feedback from end users
Provide constructive feedback through sprint retrospectives
Complete assigned development tasks
Assist project architects with technical decisions

Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
Completion of a 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree,



or a 2-year Computer Engineering/System Technology diploma
Minimum 5 years of qualified experience in software development
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, Unity Catalogue
Expertise in Power BI (DAX), Paginated Reports, Oracle BI, Oracle SQL, Row Level Security
Robust analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Spark, Power BI, Power BI Paginated Reports

Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with LakeFS
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and other Azure services
Programming skills in SQL, Python, .NET, DAX
Data modelling experience

Power BI/ Data Analytics Systems Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until 31-April-2027, with potential extensions.
