Job Summary:

Fenelon Falls Brewing Co restaurant is seeking a passionate and talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets high-quality standards. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, assisting in menu planning, supervising kitchen staff, and maintaining food quality and consistency. The ideal candidate should have a strong culinary background, leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing menu items
Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
Manage kitchen inventory and control food costs
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu concepts
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant




Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team under pressure
Creative and innovative approach to cooking

Additional Requirements:
Food handler's certification
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools

Pay: $17.57-$25.00 per hour
