Join the Enviros team as a Youth and Family Support Practitioner, dedicated to empowering young lives in a nurturing environment. This role is integral for supporting youth facing challenges through trauma-informed care and individualized plans.
As a permanent full time practitioner, you will manage and support individual youth cases within the Passages Program. Your responsibilities include creating protected, inclusive settings, building trustful relationships, and collaborating effectively with external supports. You'll help guide youth toward successful transitions back to their families or towards alternative placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage individual youth cases with a focus on personalized care • Create a welcoming atmosphere for all residents • Facilitate trust-building exercises and rapport with youth • Collaborate with coworkers and other professionals • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care
Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Human Services • Experience in trauma-informed care practices • Background in Group Care programs • Standard First Aid and CPR C certifications • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
