Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations in a dynamic hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service or restaurant settings. Prior hotel or restaurant experience is a plus. This position offers an prospect to be the first point of contact for our guests and contribute to an outstanding dining experience.

Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
Handle guest inquiries,



special requests, and feedback courteously
Assist in managing the flow of guests during peak hours to minimize wait times
Support the team with additional duties as needed to enhance guest satisfaction

Skills
Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or food service environments
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems like Micros POS
Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a customer-facing role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
