Become a Youth and Family Program Worker with School District 71. This rewarding role offers 30 hours per week focusing on at-risk youth support and collaborative community engagement.
At School District 71, you'll bring your Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child and Youth Care or Social Work to support students and families. With a minimum of two years’ experience, your expertise in crisis intervention and cooperative strategies will empower at-risk children. This program is vital to both individual and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group support for students in need
• Facilitate collaboration with schools and community agencies
• Support students' Individualized Education/Service Plans




• Maintain accurate case documentation and assessments
• Offer crisis intervention as required by the School Based Team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care or Related Fields
• At least two years of experience with at-risk youth
• Strong skills in communication and collaboration
• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
Support young learners and their families as a key advocate in School District 71.
