Role Description This remote WordPress Developer role is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites for a diverse portfolio of B2B clients on a project by project basis. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating themes and plugins, implementing front-end layouts and responsive designs, and optimizing sites for performance and search engines. The role involves collaborating with internal team members to translate business and design requirements into functional, user-friendly websites.

The WordPress Developer will also troubleshoot technical issues, ensure site security and reliability,



and contribute to ongoing improvements in development processes and s tandards. Qualifications- Must live in the Vancouver Lower Mainland

Robust Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for user-friendly, mobile-optimized WordPress sites.
Experience in Back-End Web Development and Web Development for WordPress, including working with PHP, MySQL, themes, and plugins.
Web Design skills to translate branding and UI/UX requirements into clean, professional layouts.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with non-technical stakeholders and documenting work clearly.
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and contemporary development workflows is an asset.
Relevant education or training in web development, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
