Guest Services Agent/Night Auditor Job Description:
Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
Anticipate and address guest needs and provide assistance as required.
Perform accurate check-in and check-out procedures.
Answer the phone in a timely and professional manner.
Make reservations over the phone and in person.
Post charges, collect payments and maintain guest accounts.
Manage cash float.
Liaison with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest requests are completed in a timely manner.
Audit, balance, post and report on the front desk to include but not limited to; room charges, phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits, etc. to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Audit, balance and prepare, verify and report on room information to provide rooms management with a picture of how they are performing.
Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
Balance and close all bank ticket codes, daily.
Run night audit final after ensuring all revenues are in balance nightly.




Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or department manager

Guest Services Agent/Night Auditor Job Requirements:
A true passion for customer service and guest satisfaction.
Hotel experience an asset, customer service experience a must.
Highly organized and results oriented individual.
Robust attention to details.
Must be available to work the overnight shift.
Able to work well in a high pressure, fast paced setting.
Able to multitask.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
