For over 25 years, WeKare Nursing & Homecare has provided compassionate, high-quality care to children, adults, and seniors in their homes. We are expanding our Pediatric Division and seeking caring, reliable nurses to support children and youth with diverse medical needs.
Job Summary
We are hiring LPNs to deliver one-on-one pediatric care in a home-care setting. Your responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure protected, effective care.
This position is 8 hour OVERNIGHTS or Monday - Friday 0900 - 1500
Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document vital signs; report any changes
Maintain accurate patient records
Support care planning and assessments as needed
Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and families
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
Current BCCNM license in good standing
Robust communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Pediatric experience is an asset (training available)
Physical Requirements
This role may involve bending, lifting, transferring, or participating in play/care activities with children and youth (ages 0–19). Must be able to safely perform these duties with or without accommodation.
