We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Field Engineer to support the successful execution of our heavy civil construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating field activities, supporting construction teams, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Your ability to solve problems in real time, collaborate with field and office teams, and maintain accurate project documentation will be critical to project success.Responsibilities
Support day-to-day field operations and construction activitiesCoordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and project managersInterpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure complianceAssist in planning and sequencing of work activitiesTrack project progress and maintain accurate field reports and documentationParticipate in quality control inspections and ensure standards are metIdentify and resolve field issues in collaboration with project teamsAssist with procurement, material tracking, and logistics coordinationEnsure adherence to safety policies and promote a safety‑first cultureSupport cost tracking, change management, and quantity trackingParticipate in project meetings and planning sessionsQualifications




5–8 years of experience in heavy civil construction or related fieldEngineering Degree or Technology DiplomaStrong understanding of construction practices and field operationsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience with project management and reporting toolsStrong organizational and communication skillsProficient in Excel and field reporting systemsAbility to work effectively in a quick‑paced field environmentWork Conditions
