Overview:The Material Handler puts pallets away, stages materials for production, picks and stages customer orders, receives, ships and helps with other warehouse activities as directed by the Warehouse Unit Leader/Supervisor/Manager.

Our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate reliability and dependability. You must also have experience driving a Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Forklift.

This is a full-time afternoon shift from 3 pm - 11:30 pm

There will be an initial training period on a regular day shift for a few weeks before moving to the afternoon shift.

You will be subject to a driving test.

Responsibilities:

· Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

· Loading and unloading of trailers

· Verifying inbound and outbound loads to match paperwork supplied.

· Assist in product identification as required.

· Daily safety-check on Narrow Aisle Reach and Forklift Truck to ensure its secure operation.

· Assist in other departments as required such as Shipping, Picking, Production,



and Receiving.

Requirements:

· Five (5) years minimum experience operating Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Counter Balanced Forklift.

· Must be able to use a handheld radio frequency scanner.

· Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy with the ability to work independently.

· Good communication skills

· Understanding of the protected operation of Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Forklift.

· A valid certificate on the operation of Narrow Isle Reach Truck and Forklift.
