We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Labourers to join our team. As a flat roofing Labourer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a protected work environment.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
Perform manual labor tasks such as , lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools.
Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with their tasks as needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working workplace for all team members.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote efficiency and safety.
Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas as required for ongoing projects.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Solid attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
