Immediate opening for heavy equipment operators based at our Northern Ontario Timmins location.

Essential Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment ( Loader, Excavator)
Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
Maintain heavy equipment in valuable operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:
-Must be willing to work in a part time, temporary position
Minimum one-year of heavy civil experience is preferred
Must have and maintain a valid class G driver's license
-Ability to provide MLITSD (formerly MTCU) transcripts
-Must complete a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol Test

Work Conditions:




Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
