Summit Air is seeking a full time Maintenance Planner in Edmonton or Yellowknife to enhance aviation maintenance efficiency. Collaborate across departments to develop effective, compliant maintenance plans.Working closely with the Maintenance Operations Manager, this role involves creating systematic maintenance plans tailored to operational requirements. You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling maintenance tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance throughout. Engage proactively with internal teams to confirm aircraft availability and optimize operations.Key Responsibilities:
Forecast and plan maintenance activities effectively
Coordinate required parts and tooling acquisition
Build maintenance work packages and schedules
Manage budgets and monitor forecasted hours
Support on-time completion of all maintenance tasksRequirements:
4+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance
Technical Diploma in Aviation preferred
Experience in planning and supervisory roles favored
Proficiency in MS Office and tracking software
