Become a vital part of the Energy North Operations Division as a Thermal Field Engineer. This in office role involves engineering support for thermal generating plants and renewable energy assets. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will engage with operations and maintenance teams to solve complex equipment issues, manage emergency repairs, and execute capital projects.
You'll enhance maintenance standards, conduct asset condition assessments, and support continuous improvements while promoting safety protocols across work areas. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot equipment and outage recovery
Conduct emergency repairs and recommend capital investments
Manage capital project scopes and budgets
Perform asset condition assessments and site inspections
Update technical records and CMMS asset data
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
Minimum two years in power generation engineering
Registered P.Eng in Canada or eligible
Class 5 driver's license required
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
