Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure setting for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance, loss prevention, and law enforcement practices. The Security Guard will monitor premises, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.

Responsibilities
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
Utilize surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to monitor activities and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Respond quickly to alarms or emergency situations, assessing the situation and taking appropriate action.
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences for management review.




Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security breaches or criminal activity.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

Qualifications
Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with surveillance systems including CCTV is highly desirable.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is an asset.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.

Hours- Part time Weekends Friday-Saturday Overnights

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
